Except to say this: fuck transgender trivialization. Shit like this makes real issues (like gender dysphoria) look laughable and and fake and therefore hurts the movement toward equality.
Uh, actually, I’m under the trans* umbrella (specifically nonbinary), and by saying things like that, you ARE erasing me. I’d also like to say that I’ve never met a cis ‘kin that compared their nonhuman feels to being trans*
So yeah, you’re… kinda coming off as pretty dang rude.
Why are people convinced that otherkin and other non human folks are turning trans* issues into somethign laughable and trivial…. I’m pretty sure the vast majority (to fucking all) of the folks who turn me into a joke and say shit like ‘your gender isn’t real’ and ‘that’s not a real thing’ and ‘BIOLOGICAL SEX!’ and claims gender dysphoria isn’t real or isn’t serious…. the people who laugh at me and fuck me over are probably not otherkin…. just saying.

It’s the whole paradigm of one minority oppressing another minority. The majority oppresses the minority, who turns around and oppresses a faction of the minority they see as MORE of a minority and the cycle just keeps on going. It’s disheartening and frustrating.
It’s do what you want so long as you do no harm, not do what you want and it’s okay as long as you’re harming someone lower on the proverbial food chain.
You know, there are some awesome people I follow that are frustrating to follow because I THINK they get it, I see them getting it, and then they find something that they view as absurd, or outside the realm of possibility for them. So they shit on it. And it’s not like calling them out does any good, they already think they’re in the right because what they’re shitting on is in the minority.
